Angela "rescued" us in 2001, when she stepped in with just 11 days to go to Oklahoma! Although she had played Aunt Eller with St. Agnes' Choral Society in 1998, it was a very brave undertaking, and much appreciated by all of us. It was a testament to her great talent that she gave such fine performances throughout the week - even if she wasn't always sure who we were!

She joined St. Agnes' in 1977, and her leading roles include Venus in Orpheus in the Underworld, Gretel in The White Horse Inn - for which she won the Best Comedienne at the Waterford Festival in 1981 - and Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof - for which she won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Northern Ireland Festival of Light Opera in 1987.

In 2004, Angela appeared in Oliver! with St. Agnes', where she was joined on stage by her husband, Pat, daughter, Helen and son, Patrick. Twins Helen and Patrick, had key roles in our award-winning production of The King and I in 1999, and again in our 2005 show, Anything Goes.
