Ceara Grehan

Ceara has had several leading roles with Fortwilliam Musical Society including Prince Orlovsky in Die Fledermaus, Anna in The King and I, Ado Annie in Oklahoma!, and Tessa in The Gondoliers.

In September 2002, she took to the stage of The Odyssey for One Enchanted Evening, performing with Peter Corry, Brian Kennedy, Joanna Ampil (Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar), Jeff Leyton (Les Misérables) and other internationally renowned stars.

She trained at the Belfast School of Music and has won many major awards including a bursary from Opera Northern Ireland.

She has guested for many musical organisations, including Omagh Musical Society with Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Lyric Opera productions with A Tribute to Oscar Hammerstein II at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, where she returned for Classics from Broadway.

She regularly appears with St. Agnes' Choral Society in the Grand Opera House. In June 2003, she won the AIMS Award for Best Female Singer for her performance as Anna Leonowens in St. Agnes' The King and I. She has taken part in the Waterford Festival and learnt The Mikado in a day at the Grand Opera House!

Ceara and her husband Stephen have been recording an album of original songs for most of the past decade. The word on the street (according to Huggy Bear) is that is it's really good, but by the time it hits the shops, S Club 8 will be eligible for free transport and health care!
