Michael is a founder member of the Society and has always been one of our leading principals. His vocal quality and character interpretations have endeared him to audiences everywhere and have added greatly to both shows and concerts.
He received the Northern Ireland Festival of Light Opera Award for Best Actor for Leopold in White Horse Inn and the Award for Best Comedian for Shadbolt in Yeoman of The Guard. He has also guested for many other societies.
In February 2003, he played the sergeant of the police in The Pirates of Penzance, and in 2005, he played Elisha Whitney in Anything Goes.
