These are presented to those members of the Youth Group who have shown an exemplary manner, either through performance or backstage contribution. When awarding these shields, the panel looks for an enthusiastic and helpful attitude.
In 2003, the panel decided to share the shields with two members in each category, reflecting the high standard shown within the Youth Group.

This award was introduced in 2009. It is presented to a member who shows outstanding committment to Performing Arts through dance and who has shown a significant improvement in their skills. They must also show an exemplary attitude and encourage others to progress and develop their own skills.
